Mad Max: Fury Road

Look I usually don't pump up new releases... but if you haven't seen the new Mad Max just drop whatever you are doing now and see it.  At work?  Plenty of jobs out there! In couples counselling?  You can do better!

Make sure you see it in 3D, on a large a screen with as loud of speakers as you can find.

I freakin' loved this movie!! I've seen it twice already. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

I've since gone back and rewatched all the 3 original Mad Max movies. I really think George Miller is in the closet. There are just too many leather, bare chested, blouse wearing, eye makeup, assless chap, man thong wearing guys running around in Mad Max & The Road Warrior. Fury Road has some "weird" sexual themes but not the blatant homoerotica seen in the 1st two movies....

Agree. This was everything you'd want in an action film. Nice to be pleasantly surprised.

Now makes me wish we'd gotten George Millers's Justice League a few years back.

I did read toe cutter & immortan joe were the same actor. I never would've guessed it. 

As as for the homoerotica, I guess it's George miller's way of saying anything goes in post apocalyptic society? It definitely doesn't take anything away from any of the movies, just an interesting topic worth noting.  

 

We will all enter Valhalla shiny and chrome!!!!
