While we're still searching for the missing, and more disaster expected to come as more rain falls, Al "Not So" Sharpton, the race-baiting, tax-evading hack and  unnofficial voice of the left and the Obama Administration seems to think God is using floods to punish Texas for its conservative policies.    But it's ok cause he's a leftist, right?

​No.  It's not ok.  I'll admit that I've made a few jokes amongst like minded friends mocking conservative statements that various weather incidents are a result of God's anger toward homosexual, so hey, Texas, I think you're looking faaaabulous.  But to use it as a public platform to advance your crappy society sucking agenda be it for far right conservative constituents or batshit leftest race baiters, it's not ok.  It's weather.  Period.  God ain't involved.

I think there are some on the other side of the spectrum that think the floods are caused by the federal government as punishment for Texas resisting Jadehelm.

To be fair, those kooks don't get to spout their nonsense on TV like Sharpton so there is still some bias at play I suspect.

In this case, he is asking the reader (the addressed YOU) if they think any of the items are related. The burden is then on the responder (aka the idiot not smart enough to ignore this completely) to select one or both choices along with a Yes or No. For example, I could say, Yes, this is related to climate control because only I know where the weather device is OR No, this is not God's rebuke because he was already busy making sure Greg Abbott has a top speed of 30 mph downhill and His time is much different than ours, so he hasn't really caught up on Texas since then. Both of those statements are ridiculous, but the point of this open ended question is to get stupid statements from everyone on the record so we can hold up the #content like a pinata while he fills air time.

 

I hope you tweeted him your thoughts. He might even read them on the air?

Oh I selfishly meant somewhere that pertains to my well being and affects me. I had no plans to go to Bastrop State Park, and it wasn't some sort of dam that drowned 100 people. I know there was that small lake that had potential break in Midlothian, but most of it would drain into Joe Pool Lake anyways.
