I had a 1966 Mustang once. It was really fast, but it only ran when I'd dump a bunch of money into it. I sold it for a twelve pack and a dollar. I used the dollar to buy five hookers on mockingbird. Well, the rest is history, and so are they.

SMU is a lot of things. Liberal isn't one of them.

Sorry you feel that way. There is a bell curve of people and ideas but if you won't listen to your only SMU source (me) then I can't help you.

Yeah but this is the internet, for all we know you're really a UTSA grad.

One question. Are the SMU faithful trying to come up with their own shirt for the North Texas game? Or is this all pathetically one sided?

Two points:

1. SMU faithful - lol

2. They don't wear t-shirts. T-shirts are what their gardeners wear. SMU is designing an anti-UNT ascot for the game.

Really like the shirt...licensing can be so tedious. Paul Batchelder, the licensing guy at North Texas might give you a pass if you just wanted to sell some shirts for that one game...just a thought.

This will not happen. I made SMU shirts for game under Dickey, and Mr. B came by to tell met that I could not sell them at cost. Told him I would give them away to students which I did at a cost to me of nearly $400. Don't expect any favors from Batchholder. He has never spoken to me since and can't even look at me.

Ridiculous how licensing deals are these days. Can be a total killjoy to a bunch of fans in sports, and ruin the smaller venues in the music industry.

Technology is allowing the common man to do amazing things these days, and larger companies do not want to lose that profit.
