Heh. Yeah, there was a little bit of a conversation that took place when the OSDH&CP shirts had the flying worm in place of the ampersand. Ever since, UNT football themed shirts from him have been original artwork.

Really like the shirt...licensing can be so tedious. Paul Batchelder, the licensing guy at North Texas might give you a pass if you just wanted to sell some shirts for that one game...just a thought.

Just for education, which part of it do you think is a licensing issue? The play on the state flag or the Ford Motorcars logo likeness?

Given your prior background in this sort of stuff, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts.

Well, the battle flag look is not licensed by the university, but it is an official flag of the university. I would be more worried by our friends at SMU, who may not take too kindly to the use of the mustang. Their mustang is definitely licensed. If officials at both schools got pissy there could be a problem.

The SMU mustang is identical to the Ford Mustang...SMU cut a deal with Ford to use it many years ago.
