Not gonna need him if Damarcus Smith gets here.

Considering Smith has a grade and maturity problem I would take Golson in a heartbeat

We can waste our time leaving a message on his phone, but I doubt he even calls back so to say "no thanks." Our program is not in the position to land a guy like Golson. He wants to go to a P5 school or a school that could bolster his draft stock.

When you can not get grades after 3-4 yrs in school, that points to a maturity issue of getting your s**t done.

I don't know, my undergrad grades were pretty bad... but look how many reputation points I have now.

It should be pointed out that all schools listed in this thread were schools the media decided would be a good fit for him. He has not mentioned any school. You never get a date if you are too afraid of rejection to ask. I say we shoot him an offer even if we aren't at the top of the pecking order, the worst he can say is no and we'd be in the same situation we are now.

Todd Dodge tried to recruit Rex Burkhead and even though we didn't get him, I applaud the efforts to at least make contact with a high profile player.

Any chance the kid would be able to grasp the playbook as well as McNulty? I think not. He probably wouldn't even take the offseason workout program very seriously.

He comes here he's a locked in starter and a probable first team all conference selection. We'll also undoubtedly go bowling. That's how important the qb position is and our coaching staff can't seem to grasp that concept.
