Hmmm, I'm no mechanic (although I do understand some of the basics), but I'd be more inclined to look at school buses. All of the buses that I viewed on the web-site said "not running" and "parts missing". I can't imagine how much it would cost to just have the carcass towed even 30 or 40 miles in the metroplex, much less get the engine running.

If I wanted a tailgating motor home RV, I would be inclined to get with some friends and pool our money and purchase something like these.

To me, it would seem that getting an old airstream and remodeling it, like these people did,

but with a North Texas theme would be more ideal.

Avions are good too....

if you're in the market for a used RV, check this place out - consignment sales. They just opened a location in Cleburne. The original location is in Houston, and the other location is in New Braunfels.

I don't own an RV - I'd like to, at least by the time I retire...

Sorry. Forgot about the title of the thread. I just let my mind wander into the area of people who were beginning to think about having a camping experience as part of their tailgating. RV's and converted buses (especially former city buses that aren't running) are a big commitment for first timers.
