Kansas City Chiefs are interested in another basketball player

Voss was an all-state tight end in Michigan before deciding to play basketball, not football, in college. How GM John Dorsey and the Chiefs scouts identify these players is beyond me but there is a history of basketball players turning into tight ends at the NFL level (who was that Tony G. guy?). It's a difficult transition, obviously. I remember Harris' first year with the Chiefs it was so obvious that he was a basketball player and not a football player. But then the next season he put on weight, obviously learned some routes and looked more like a football player. It's a process to make that transition.
