Tron Griffin named Prairie View A&M's Recruiting Coordinator

Tron Griffin, who has served as an assistant coach with the Prairie View A&M women's basketball team for the past two seasons, has been promoted to the role of Recruiting Coordinator, head coach Dawn Brown announced today.

Griffin is entering his third year as an assistant coach at PVAMU and brings over eight years of coaching and playing experience to his new position.

"Tron has been invaluable to this program," Brown said. "Without reservation, he is one of the best assistant coaches in our sport. Tron is an avid student of the game, a relentless recruiter and he is extremely passionate about helping to continue to move our women's basketball program here at Prairie View A&M to the next level.

"He is a proven winner – someone who knows how to work until the job is done," added Brown. "Tron could not be more deserving of this promotion."

In addition to his recruiting duties, Coach Griffin is involved in all aspects of the program with special emphasis on post player development.
