What's with K State?

Well, K State's HC has just released the third player from last year's squad. HC Bruce Webber just announced the release of forward Malek Harris (freshman), after also releasing soph. guard Marcus Foster (team's leading scorer by the way) and freshman Tre Harris. In addition, soph. guards Jevon Thomas and Nigel Johnson are transferring out as well. This leave three roster players for K State that had any significant playing time at all last season.

From what I've been told he actually holds the student athletes responsible for their actions (I know hard to imagine...poor kids) not only on but off the court.

My concern is this same thing happened at Illinois after Bill Self's boys left so their maybe something more to his persona.

If this continues I may be making a road trip down to Stephen F Austin and sweet talk Underwood to coming back home.

Imagine that! Thought it might be something like that. This is exactly what college BB and FB will look like if the players get their wish and start getting paid to play under the smokescreen of "full cost" of attending college.

Players will most definitely be held accountable as the costs of not doing so for the university will be too large. Welcome to the world of "pay for play" folks.
