The University of North Texas website is back to normal after a hacker attack over the weekend.

University spokeswoman Margarita Venegas said several pages of the website were taken over from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

No personal information was compromised but anyone who accessed the website Sunday night was urged to check their computers for viruses, she said.

During the attack, webpages were replaced with messages that said, "We just shut down the website of your stuped (sic) security" and "Hacking is not a crime."

A Tunisian hackers group claimed responsibility for the attack.
