Okay UAB is making it tough on us to kick them out of the league. So shall we keep them and grab New Mexico States football program. I wouldn't mind their hoops but we need balance. If they make some noise in the dance that will get real interesting!

I wish UAB could stay. Basketball is the most interesting college sport. I would not mind if a bunch of teams dropped football. I still find it crazy how CUSA a has crumbled since we joined pretty much. SMU, Houston, UAB, Memphis, ECU, Tulsa, and Tulane all gone. I am content with our conference but if we keep losing teams every year it will not help.

So was Charlotte, and UAB voted to kick them out in 2005 when the football rule came about.

It loks like Charolette will get the chance to avenge that vote...

Are they a voting member yet?

As a founding member, I wonder if they voted to require all members play football ?

GO MEAN GREEN

All members are required to have a football team, regardless of whether you are a founding member or not.

I'm guessing he was commenting on the irony of UAB voting to to create the rule that should see them expelled from CUSA.
