Prior to UNT I attended Tarleton. Tarleton is a D1 drop out school. Every year their roster is made up of kids who used to be at Div. 1 programs

Agree, but their coach, Lonn Reisman is better at developing and coaching that D1 talent than the majority of the other guys are at developing their D1 talent. Amazing that he's been at Tarleton for 27 years.

Yep. 27 years without an opportunity to move up. Then again, maybe he doesn't want to, but either way, that tells me all I need to know. Now, if he were at SFA...

He's had plenty of offers. He loves Stephenville and the campus community there. .His son is his assistant coach, plus he's the Athletic Director as well. He's been able to stay and raise a family in one place all this time. A rare opportunity for such a profession.

Of course, like you said, you already knew all of that, so....

You're right. It tells me he doesn't want to leave.

Why again is Tarleton State in the North Texas basketball forum?

That kid for Tarleton, Mo Lee, was 6 for 6 from behind the arc in the first half.

Tarleton's defense ranks 3rd nationally.

The Regional final is tonight against Chris Jones' Angelo State Rams at 7 o'clock.

Each team split their two regular season games both winning on their home courts. This game may decide the NC?

Oooooo Oscar P!!!!!

Texans win 66-64. On to the elite 8 in Evansville .

Chris Jones at the line to give ASU the lead with 9 seconds left and he missed both. I think he finished with 12 points?

8 or 9 lead changes great game.

Who cares? Stephenville is 120 miles away from Denton. It's D2. They cater to a different student. Why are you so intrigued by what's going on at a random D2 school an hour+ away?

Why not Mary Hardin Baylor?

Can't read the title of the thread, eh? Oh well.

For those who enjoy great D II Basketball here's how you can keep up with the lone Texas team remaining..

For everyone wondering about video of Final Four games:

Thursday's NCAA Division II Final Four game between Tarleton State and Indiana (Pa.) will be broadcast via webcast as well as on CBS Sports Network. Here are the ways you can watch:

1. A webcast of the game can be found on NCAA.com. The webcast will also be syndicated, courtesy of the Texan News Service, to Northland Cable Channel 9 and will also be on display in the video board at Wisdom Gym for the second straight "Watch Party at Wisdom" with pizza donated by The Pizza Place.

2. The game will be aired live on CBS Sports Network, which is channel 221 for Directv customers and channel 158 for DISH Network customers. Northland Cable does not provide the CBS Sports Network, but will have the syndication of the webcast on channel 9.

As always, there will be links to the game on the Men's Basketball schedule page at TarletonSports.com as well as on the Elite Eight Tournament Central page at TarletonSports.com - which can be found by clicking on the Elite Eight button on the top right corner of the TarletonSports.com Home Page.

The game will begin at 6 p.m. CST and the regular radio broadcast can still be heard on the Tarleton Sports Network presented by the North Texas Ford Dealers on 90.5 FM KTRL or online at TarletonSports.com/ListenLive.

Go Texans!
