They killed 4 people and injured and mutilated 280 others.

Rick

The bombing itself killed 3 people though, which is what he wrote. He didn't say they killed four total over a few days.

I never said it was but that part of it is incomplete.

Rick

Yes Rick, but if we are to be fair, it wasn't so long ago that hundreds were killed by Catholic and Protestant extremists in Northern Ireland. Currently there is a Christian extremist group

in Africa that utilizes child soldiers (Lords resistance group in Uganda). I don't think that Christians necessarily need to apologize for them when they talk of their faith nor do I think that

is the case with any other group. All of us are appalled but such activities, but none of us can claim to be part of a group that does not have its own skeletons in the closet.

I actually think Ahmed served his faith well by saying that the extremist hurt all Muslims and don't represent his religion.

If more Muslim leaders spoke like Ahmed, the world would be a better (and safer) place.

I mean.... you're misspelling that on purpose right?

What? We're talking about the Boston bombings and a newspaper article that failed to mention the full extent of the crime committed there. Nothing more.

In that case we won't be able to trust any of your east Texas recruiting observations. Unless you can hear things in a player like Clint Eastwood in Trouble with the Curve... Edited by Army of Dad

Trouble with the Curve.

Back to sports, I don't understand why Benford gave most of the minutes to Flanagan over Ahmed. Nether were good, but Ahmed should be returning next year. NT better recruit some big men for next year. Other than Combs, NT has a little used Ahmed and a promising freshman.

Because Flannigan is two inches taller and more athletic.

Maybe, but he didn't exactly excel. He did have a few big games, but overall he was very inconsistent. Time is earned primarily at practice, so who knows. It just appeared to me that Amed was never in the game long enough to get any kind of rhythm and I have little confidence at this point in Benford's personnel decisions.
