I think they're essentially the same, 6'2-6'4" 230-240 ish pounds who can play in space a little if needed.
That is about what I'd imagine it to be. Similarly the numbers are about the same for defensive success rate at 3rd and 8 or longer.
I think having juco eligibility not count will be a bigger impact to FCS and division 2 schools that it will to G5 schools. I am more interested in seeing the impact with the NCAA considering reducing the number of players on a team from 120 to between 85-95. This might open up more opportunities at G5 schools for players who turn down scholarships at G5s to walk on a power programs. At the end of the day I hope something changes because having over half the programs in FBS basically turning over their rosters every year or so along with the top talent from FCS and D2 being pulled away is not good for the game of football. I'm just ready for the SEC and Big ten and maybe a few others to break off and then try to somehow re-engineer college football.
I think Hodge is 100% willing to go with his best defensive unit offense be danged than to allow a player on the court who causes even a tiny chink in the defensive armor. No source or info just the feel I've gotten watching him as he has stepped into his HC role
Difference between the Jack Cassity uses and the "Devil" linebacker we ran a few years back? Looks like more of the same with a different name.
About the conversion rates, I found an article from this September but only about run plays on 3rd/4th and 1. The discussion was running out of the shotgun vs under center. Either way, the conversion rate was between 68% and 75%. All run plays, whether shotgun or under center, and RB runs from the shotgun were converted at about 75%. RB only from under center was closer to 68%.
