Generally speaking, people you aren't complelely satisfied with don't get extensions on their contracts.

I thought the AD job was one that usually has a rolling contract that generally adds a single year. If the BOR perceives a problem, they don't extend it at all. Do something especially good and get a multi-year extension. A one year extension means nothing good nor bad, just the status quo.

Of course I saw UAB, UTEP, Indiana, etc... I also saw that same team play SMU. SMU will be better, no doubt. Looking forward to a much better game than 43-6 (it was a garbage Hail Mary). But, make no mistake, that is a reclamation project. Not a quick fix.
