I give up on "kids" easily. Most of these dudes will pound their chest and scream grown ass man. Well, if you want to be categorized as one you will feel the consequences as one as well. I understand one time occurrences...most sports are emotionally draining. When a trend starts to form X player must go. Call me old fashioned...I guess...

You lose a kid who was averaging 22 mins and 10 ppg during that 5 game winning streak. You're losing your 6th man and instant offense. Its a tough blow for this team. It really puts a stress on the starters to play more minutes and produce more. I cant see this team making any run in the CUSA tourney without Harris.

I want to see this kid play, but I understand why you have to sit him. Hopefully he works out. He has a ton of potential.

Hoping he can sit the next game or two and grow from this. We will need him come conference tournament time. The seniors need to talk to him and make sure he is on track to coming back. Everyone gets benched. J Will was benched as a sophmore at times during games, but he road it well and when the time came he showed up. Our best player off the bench for UTEP is now Armani. Losing by 30 is not out of the question, but anything can happen.

If he acts like that in the LRS that attitude can be infectious... After watching it with my eyes, I'd believe it. However, it is Benford and companies job to make him buy into team aspect... If he can't, sure move along. You can't tell me Callipari brought in all stand up guys who all got along and listened to every word, and never argued... Yet he makes it work.

Coach Benford indicated that Harris would return to the team for the UTSA game, but will not be with the team for the UTEP game. So looks like he'll be back for UTSA.

Going out on a limb.... TJ, or Jordan told him to grow the hell up and quit acting like a baby, he disagreed and a scuffle occurred. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

You can try to treat the cancer, but if it doesn't respond to treatment, you have to cut it out.

If you don't, it will kill the body.

From what I understand, he is a good kid off the court and especially in the classroom.

All of that is terrific, but he appears to be the only one that has not bought in to the program.

Whether you agree or not as a player, you have to do what your coaches want.

You simply cannot have one guy running his own offense or defense.

And if you can't take being removed from the game, you are not mature enough for this level of play.

I hope he learns his lesson this time... but I doubt it.

Lots of cancers have been cut out of this body.

This program must have been outside and naked the whole summer of 2012.
