We have a lot of momentum going into this. ODU started the season off fantastic but has been mortal since conference season began. It's actually possible, if we beat the Monarchs, that we may be able to pass them in the standings by seasons end.

They are starting to look less mortal again. They've won 3 straight, one being an absolute thrashing of LaTech.

Saturday should be a great game, all the more reason for everyone to pack The Pit. Even at ODU, the Monarchs only defeated us by 11 when they were flying high (15-2 after that victory) and we, meanwhile, were at our lowest as we dropped to a season-high four games under .500.

I think we pull it out, but I may be biased. :judge:

We need to start offering this information up to the student body exactly which hotel they are staying in. We could truly get a home court advantage with around the clock fire drills at their hotel!! Especially on a night like tonight!!!! ??????

Keeping fingers crossed that the game is on....wonder if they will move it even earlier in the day to let ODU get out of town after they lose earlier? Best keep looking at the athletic dept. Web site....or here on GMG.Com. GMG.com seems to get the word about as fast as anyone.

I rarely if ever miss a game! Even when we had season tickets I still showed up in the student section. I want to witness another UNT a win before we go and beat UTEP.

I didn't realize until about 3 days ago how early this one starts (only 2:30 on the west coast!). I may only be able to catch the 2nd half :closedeyes:

South of toll 121 my apartment complex built the roads within the complex all on slopes either up or down hill, or road slanting right or left at a 20 degree angle or so... Just slide to the bottom when you try to get out. Messy messy.

BASKETBALL BREAKDOWN: OLD DOMINION MONARCHS

Thinking about it more I should have giving ODU the match-up advantage in the frontcourt. I just didn't have a chance to go back and change that. Should be a good match-up of teams playing good basketball. If we limit the TO's I think we should be able to keep their scoring down. It will be interesting to see what D Benford goes with this game. I have a feeling he sticks with man since ODU hit 10 3's last time and had 19 offensive rebounds.

I'm supposed to be headed up Denton way this evening. DCTA says the A-Train is running on schedule, so I plan on ubering to the Lewisville train station. Hopefully that works out.
