Info Alert... Don't forget that we enter Daylight Savings Time early Sunday...game day. Be sure and set your clocks AHEAD one hour...Spring Forward you know....before you go to bed SATURDAY night...if you don't you will be late!

Just a head's up!

And...I wanted to let everyone know that ARMY OF DAD is donating a bunch of goodies for our concession stand from his company! That is really generous and kind and folks need to thank him for stepping up to help. This means we will be able to bring in even more dollars for the Cheer Squad members through the event. Really great to get this donation and Army of Dad is to be thanked for his help and generosity. Thank you, Sir...BIG TIME!

Happy to help and besides, I bet the drinks (non-alcoholic-avert your eyes Thor) will sell well at halftime!

Ok. Yall should get a square reader. It's free and it takes out a very very minimal amount out. My wife uses it at craft shows and garage sales etc....

KRAM, I got a 20$ bill says once you tell coach what color we are he shows up decked out in some type of matching uniform, sleeve, headband, socks, leg sleeves, something.

Yep...sorry...actually I did look at it...and I wrote it too. See, at this point...stressing over getting the t-shirts in time with all the ice days we had, getting the trophies re-done as the shop actually created cheer trophies instead of BB trophies, etc. I am going more stir crazy than I usually am.....yep...you are on white. My bad. Senior reading moment I guess....

Assume so... We'll all see how witty he is after Thor gets after him Sunday. Can't wait to watch this masterpiece unfold for year five.

Well, guys, I will not be there on Sunday. I had a family member pass this morning and will be attending a memorial service on Sunday afternoon.

Mark, PM me your address and I will cut a check anyway. In same message tell me who it needs to be made out to. I was looking forward to meeting many of you...maybe some other time. GMG.

Mark! Ankle is looking better. Swelling is done quite a bit and I can fit it in shoes! I might be able to get some weight on it and job come the weekend!

- Also how in the world do upload any sort of decent picture when the max file size is so small..... my picture is crazy small.....

      What's the appeal of Carthel? Honest question. I don't follow FCS closely, but it seems like every time a position opens up at UNT people on the board want Carthel to fill it. I see he won the NCAA Division II championship in 2017 and has an overall record of 89–48 which are both impressive. However, his run at SFA from a W/L perspective looks similar to Seth's at UNT in that he built up the program in a few years, but he seems to be plateauing over the past few years. I'd love to hear more about what the advocates see in him and why he'd be a good fit for UNT specifically.

      Odus Mitchell - What Exactly are Too High Standards at UNT?

      I really want people to read this: https://meangreensports.com/honors/north-texas-athletics-hall-of-fame/odus-mitchell/3 This man was and still is very much under appreciated here. I love the legend of Mean Joe anyone under 50 can remember seeing prime NFL Mean Joe playing. There is no Joe Greene in a North Texas uniform without Odus Mitchell. We have low expectations because with dismiss what Mitchell showed us was possible here. Heaps of excuses and disgruntled fans attacking each other on our board. Odus Mitchell is the kind of "Old Denton" I want. And MAYBE if we truly honored him properly and consistently as the MOST IMPORTANT FIGURE in Mean Green Football history we could knock off some of the negative karma. The Mean Joe Coke commercial is cute but is never something remotely associated with UNT Football without Mitchell rebuilding the program from WWII hiatus, winning, integrating CFB in Texas, and bringing Mean Joe to Denton. Hayden Fry doesn't have enough in Denton to come and rescue without Mitchell. How this program has underachieved for 20 years is an insult to his legacy imo. I wasn't alive for his tenure and likely you weren't either. But legacy is about what you can read about when there aren't cute videos!
