Looking forward to meeting everyone for the first time only moments before we're expected to act as a cohesive unit!

But really though, I'm very excited for next week. What would be a good time to show up btw? First time participant here.

I'd get there 30 to 45 minutes early. KRAM does a great job on silent auction items that you may want to take a look at, plus you want to warm up a little.

As far as cohesive unit? With the talent level on the floor for this thing, there will be more turnovers and missed shots than combined points. The object is not to get injured and just make it through.

Advantage NT90s team. We were hooping tonight and I went for the steal and knocked it free and on the run the guy came back on my leg and hurt my knee and my good ankle. I am resting til the game.and I was getting

Closer to being able to dunk again too ?. Hoping I can still shoot a week from today.

Ankle swelling went down some, but the knee still kinda looks like a bruised balloon. Take it easy on me Sunday.....

Info Alert... Don't forget that we enter Daylight Savings Time early Sunday...game day. Be sure and set your clocks AHEAD one hour...Spring Forward you know....before you go to bed SATURDAY night...if you don't you will be late!

Just a head's up!

And...I wanted to let everyone know that ARMY OF DAD is donating a bunch of goodies for our concession stand from his company! That is really generous and kind and folks need to thank him for stepping up to help. This means we will be able to bring in even more dollars for the Cheer Squad members through the event. Really great to get this donation and Army of Dad is to be thanked for his help and generosity. Thank you, Sir...BIG TIME!

Been trying not to think of that Yuengling....don't want to get my hopes up......BUT...since you still have it (which is amazing in itself) could I appeal to your kindness toward senior citizens to do a good deed? Ha! Hey...anything that might turn the tide for me.

      What's the appeal of Carthel? Honest question. I don't follow FCS closely, but it seems like every time a position opens up at UNT people on the board want Carthel to fill it. I see he won the NCAA Division II championship in 2017 and has an overall record of 89–48 which are both impressive. However, his run at SFA from a W/L perspective looks similar to Seth's at UNT in that he built up the program in a few years, but he seems to be plateauing over the past few years. I'd love to hear more about what the advocates see in him and why he'd be a good fit for UNT specifically.

      Odus Mitchell - What Exactly are Too High Standards at UNT?

      I really want people to read this: https://meangreensports.com/honors/north-texas-athletics-hall-of-fame/odus-mitchell/3 This man was and still is very much under appreciated here. I love the legend of Mean Joe anyone under 50 can remember seeing prime NFL Mean Joe playing. There is no Joe Greene in a North Texas uniform without Odus Mitchell. We have low expectations because with dismiss what Mitchell showed us was possible here. Heaps of excuses and disgruntled fans attacking each other on our board. Odus Mitchell is the kind of "Old Denton" I want. And MAYBE if we truly honored him properly and consistently as the MOST IMPORTANT FIGURE in Mean Green Football history we could knock off some of the negative karma. The Mean Joe Coke commercial is cute but is never something remotely associated with UNT Football without Mitchell rebuilding the program from WWII hiatus, winning, integrating CFB in Texas, and bringing Mean Joe to Denton. Hayden Fry doesn't have enough in Denton to come and rescue without Mitchell. How this program has underachieved for 20 years is an insult to his legacy imo. I wasn't alive for his tenure and likely you weren't either. But legacy is about what you can read about when there aren't cute videos!
