It's good to finally see this team demonstrate some consistency. If we can beat FIU on the road on Saturday, then things will really start to get interesting in the conference standings.

It's a pretty tough stretch. I'll be very pleasantly surprised if we can win 3 out of that 5.

But other than Marshall, we've been playing some decent ball since the USM loss. Nice win tonight, even though it probably should have been by a larger margin than it ended up.

Last night might have been the first time we played a complete game. We scored 38 points in the first half and 41 in the second and shot well from the floor (48%) and behind the 3-point line (33%) for both halves. Free Throw shooting was poor at 45% for the game.

If we had played close to that level we would have never lost to Prairie View, Southern Miss, and a couple other games would have likely been wins.

This team is getting hot at the right time. I said a while ago that it was really wide open in the C-USA after the top 4(now top 5 because of UAB's emergence). I could still see us getting a favorable seed going into the tourney and if the momentum continues, who knows.
