Yeah, I have a handful of friends who are UNT alums that have gone as well. I give them crap, their excuse is that it's convieninet. And that they play good basketball schools. It's not surprising, just putting it out there.

I don't blame them, but there is a huge d-bag factor to it. That is Dallas I suppose. I'm from that area, and I'm there frequently, but I have no interest. I went for Ryan Adams. But I won't go for their flash in the pan basketball team. I went for ours, though. Haven't been back since Tony left and I don't blame me or anyone else.

It's convenient and their AD doesn't blame players for his failure of a coaching hire.

Don't blame Junior or anyone else for wanting to see good college basketball.

I don't care how convenient it is. That is absolute BS. I'm not a cyber or in person bully but if I personally hear this from one of our alum I'll shit talk myself into a fight. That's pitiful and inexcusable.

Want to watch good basketball and you are boycotting UNT basketball...watch your television. Good bball is on 4-5 nights a week. Smh.

You know, when someone has to lead off a sentence with "I'm not a X", they are usually in fact enormous raging Xs.

But then again what do I know, I'm not an internet smart ass or anything.

I don't see the problem with a local sportscaster taking in a noteworthy local sports team.

To me, it does a couple things:

1. Highlight the greatness of Jub and his love for and allegiance to Mean Green Athletics

2. Demonstrate that the metroplex will follow a winner. Turn things around in Denton and the unaffiliated locals will show up.

Said this morning that he and a friend got season tickets to SMU basketball.

Using money he received while riding the coat tails of a UNT alum no doubt. Just like some many others around the DFW.

JDennis is right. Craig Miller is a results oriented guy. We wish that there would be blind loyalty to UNT but the fact is they (UNT) have not always invested into their programs. The investment part is changing. We now do orientations for incoming freshman. We have a beautiful stadium. We changed to a better conference. Our coaching salaries are competitive in our conference. We are not yet where I would like to see us but in the big picture we certainly are on an upward swing historically speaking.

Unfortunately, the results one associates with this shift in support have not yet surfaced to the level we would hope for or expect. Therein lies some of the frustration.

I think there are a lot of Craig Millers out there. Instead of casting stones, let's give them reasons to get behind the program.
