I understand that it's we the alumni's fault for not donating enough money to get major things like this corrected and all, but this may be the most embarrassing video production I've ever seen, sound-quality and camera-work wise. For a university that has such a respected RTVF department surely this isn't the best we can do, right? I mean, I don't have a lot of money to give out for equipment as I know that stuff is expensive. But I have a couple of extra sewing needles out in the laundry room I could donate to poke the camera man now and then so he'll know to at least point the damn thing at the person talking.

What sucks the most about the continued suckage of AD broadcasts is I believe pride. Absurd pride in being the only department on campus that is so isolationist it can't be bothered to seek any help from others who actually do this right.

Case in point, right across the highway: College of Music RecServ

Week in and week out they produce high-quality flawless HD streaming broadcasts with a crew of 2-3 depending upon the concert content. They've gained so much noteriety, not only on campus but in publications nationally, that the Vice Chancellor for Technology had Director Blair Liikala come down to Dallas and figure out how to upgrade and secure BoR meeting broadcasts. These are the people RV needs to get on the phone with and just initiate a conversation. It's literally an inter-campus phone call or email away.

This is just another disturbing thing to hear from someone on this board that isn't viewed as Mr. Negative.

When will the people that have the power to do something about the situation wake up to the fact that doing a job is more important than being a friend.

Two takeaways, Mac seems very motivated, wonder if Prez came and talked to him?

Second, what in the heck was that clicking and popping noise while George and Babe talked?? Gah that was annoying

Is it still so absurd to think a kid who could get offered to play QB at schools like Nebraska, Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee, etc could never hope to play QB for us? I don't think Dillman would be this staff's savior, or that he could contribute anytime soon, but we have the entirety of his eligibility to develop him. I see no reason he couldn't be better by his redshirt junior and senior year than what we have right now.

And I didn't see Chumley. I'm guessing he didn't make the travel squad. And Means is 4th-string right now, and we haven't offered a 2016 high school QB.

The QB issue isn't just an issue for this season, with the crew we have right now, it's an issue for years to come.
