Babe is just a commentator and not a play by play guy. It would be a really odd move if it happened.

Yes that is what I meant. You could move Babe to analyst.

I'm all for having Babe as the color commentator though Hank does an excellent job. However, it would make his weekends very tough with back to back games of UNT and Cowboys with travel thrown in. I'm doubting he'll be doing our football games based on this.

It wasn't that much different for George when he was the PA for the Cowboys.

Good point though George didn't work road games for the Cowboys. I suppose if Babe was up to the travel he could do it ... it's not like he has anything else going on right now.

The time commitment for PA announcer and radio analyst is very different! I don't really think it would be practical for Babe to work our broadcasts, although I believe Bill Mercer made it work in the 60s.
