I enjoy playing UAB a in basketball. With tulsa and tulanleaving last east year and the possibility of UAB leaving the Confrence needs to make some moves. Personally I want baskwtball moves (keep UAB) but I know that football is the bigger issue to a lot of people.

I would rather have a full member.

I feel bad for UAB but I agree we need a football playing member. Fire Ray Watts and I might reconsider.

Even if they were to reinstate football, they will be awful for awhile. I would only want full members. Their replacement should not be a move up either. We need a school that is ready to compete in all sports right away.

That's a valid point forever. Hadn't thought about that. They would be a startup now the vultures have picked it apart.

It is worth mentioning that most of the potential UAB replacements that get bandied about wouldn't bring as much to the table in basketball.
