UTEP is a beautiful place and told me that I will play right away, Harrison said...

Another reference to playing time.

Just my opinion, but I think this kid could play somewhere right away for us.

I was thinking the same thing. Was he high the whole time he was there? Its a barren wasteland

Isn't there some sort of restrictions on cartel alumni contacting recruits?

I would assume that the coaches are having to try to juggle quite a bit with Combs in play, potentially Howard, maybe even the Denton kids Thompson and Watson. Plus all the others that we may be trying to flip. Has to be nerve wracking.

Billy58See. What is your analysis of this recruiting class so far?

Definitely not a train wreck of a class like it looked like it might be. Our high school class lacks a true headliner with a great offer list, provided fhat Kevin Dillman is just coming in as a tight end (we were his only offer as a tight end).

We've still failed to win very many recruiting battles with other schools, but we still could end up with some good players. I think we may end up with some good players because their offers with other schools expired due to their classes filling up and no longer recruiting those players, opening the door for us. In the future this staff has to do a better job winning head to head recruiting battles, but this may be the second best class Mccarney has brought in. But there's still a pretty big gap between this one and the 2014 class, at least from a quality, not quantity, standpoint.
