Hey...that's pretty good and aimed at the students. Good stuff...need more. And, the students do indeed need to come support their fellow students. I hope they do come loud and proud. If so, I will have a lot of fun watching them be loud and proud.

Agreed if people would show up we would start winning a lot more. It's pretty simple!

I had season tickets Benford's first year. The crowds were pretty good and we didn't win.

When will you finally admit it's Benford's fault?

We haven't beaten this dogbulls since the mid 80s, which is win some of you where suckling on mommi'es teets. Say what you william about Toni Tone Binford, but if he wins this game, he;s 10fth all thyme, baby!

This post should not help either RV or Benford feel very good about where we are sitting right now...you cannot lose the boo$ter$...but it sure makes those of on us gmg.com feel a bit better that pressure may be getting hotter from the monied alums. Now, we just need the BOR to follow thru if this thing goes south even faster than it already has.

      Volleyball coach released

      I recall seeing two MBB games in the Snake Pit. I believe there was some sort of conflict in the Super Pit. But they were an absolute blast to watch. Great fan support, seats right down to the court, noisy as hell. If it is usable, I think that venue would be great for volleyball and I would support WBB there also. GMG

      We have an over $50M a year athletics budget. Significantly more than FAU and Charlotte who are pulling the plug on their failed year 2 coaching experiments. Are you saying we’re not capable of doing what these peers do? It’s a matter of will, not resources.

      When The Portal Opens

      I’m predicting a lot of change. JayD and Miles mentioned it on their podcast, keep a few of our returners on defense and hope the new DC brings some of his current players. Not sure what we do on offense. Need to keep C4 to try and help recruit some players from the portal. Build some OL depth.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      FAU - ended up 1-2 in their tourney...beat Oklahoma State, then fell to Drake and a two-point loss to Seton Hall in the third place game. FAU is just 4-4 on the season, but none of those games look like bad losses. they're blending in a new coach with nearly an entirely new roster...they've 8 dudes who can legit give you double-figures scoring every night, so they're still gonna be scary by the time conference play gets here. Memphis - beat a good San Francisco team and open the Maui Invitational tonight with #2 UCONN Wichita State - ran through St. Louis. Shockers seem to be back to normal Utah State - beat Iowa 77-69 to move to 6-0. it's 50/50 we play USU or get also now 6-0 St. Bonaventure at the NIT Tip-Off after our game with UNI Temple - lost a close game to Florida State, but came back to beat UMASS High Point - lost to Missouri State
