Making it in Hollywood is never easy.

Aspiring actors live from role to role. Their work is rarely steady and are perpetually worried about the next job. Now, add the risk of life and limb and you have the life of a Hollywood stuntman.

Thom Williams is one of Senoias newest residents. Hes also a well-established stuntman and founder of Action Stunts. After 17 years in Los Angeles, Williams said he was eager for a change of scenery and discovered Senoia.

A native of Denton, Texas, Williams welcomed a return to a more laid back way of life.

Williams road to the world of high risk employment originally started in Texas, playing football for most of his young life until suffering a knee injury his senior year of high school.

Your biggest challenge is just keeping it going, Williams said. "Youre constantly in a job hunt and it's stressful that way. Youre interviewing all the time. If you do a movie, youre only on it for a few months. A TV show? You may get a long run but its half a season sometimes.

This is why I turned down lead costumers Dan Moore and Barry Kellogg's offer to go to LA after we finished NR. Everyone around me was on their 3rd or 5th divorce, or never married at all. If they had kids they never got to see them. Everyone was living like a gypsy. I knew I wanted a family some day. And even though I should have gone just for the experience alone, I just couldn't do it.

Thom was on the cheerleading squad when I was the sponsor....he's a good guy. He was on at least one squad that won the national championship.
