Anyone here with experience lifting 225 lbs several times who wants to weigh in on the topic?

I have experience ... from about 26 years ago back in high school. I'll go ahead and say my experience is probably not relevant.

Anyone here with experience lifting 225 lbs several times who wants to weigh in on the topic?

210 is my working squat, but to be fair, I'm like 160lbs sopping wet.

Supplements are nice, like protein, creatine, or caffeine. I wouldn't touch anything beyond that, though.

It's been about a dozen years (I'm just a fat guy now), but I never was big on supplements. Eat good nutrition including lots of protein and lift heavy things lots of times.
