I hate this. Along with Channel 8's George Riba retiring the Mean Green is losing two guys in the media who have been pretty good to us over the years.

Babe has always, and I mean always been good to North Texas so he will be missed.

I wonder what part UNT alum Dandy Killeen plays in this... surely he wasn't negotiating this for 11?

Per Uncle Barky, a non-compete will likely keep him from working in FWD anytime soon....wasn't aware of any openings in the area anyway. I think Babe was the most watchable of all the FWD sportscaster talent.
