How cool would it be of he scores a TD to win the game??

He probably would have last week if the Lions LB didn't tackle him when he was releasing for the screen pass. Edited by UNTcrazy727

Have I now witnessed a "circle of life" of each and every way possible in how the teams I root for can lose?

I'm not goin to bitch about the TWO replay disasters that went against Dallas. The NFL in the past two weeks has recieved two black eyes over that. And has embarrassed itself to the hilt.

What I'm more upset is the NFL's #1 Running Back was standing on the sidelines on a critical 4th and 2, and instead of going for 3 we instead throw for 30 plus?

If your not going to go for the 4th and 1 in the first half with the lead, at least try for it when behind at the end.

Stupid football!

I didn't watch the game, but based on your description, it sounds like Bill Callahan spent last week studying in South/westlake.

I thought Murray had really started to wear down the Packers and was surprised the Cows didnt go to him more in that final drive, especially since they had 9 minutes on the clock when the drive started.

Romo cost them again by refusing to throw the ball away on the second to last drive and taking 2 huge sacks (again, when they should have been running the ball. He did the same thing last week. He deserves a lot of the blame for this loss, but will get a pass due to the terrible call on a gawdawful rule.

But true to Romo form, still can't get past the divisional series.

It's like he is Danny White, but one step lower.

Dude...Romo is head and shoulders above white...and pelluer...and I'm not even a big cowboy fan

Cowboys QBs are judged by how far they get in the playoffs.

The reason you think Danny White is so bad is because he couldn't get past the NFC Championship game (even though The Catch wouldn't be The Catch absent 2 fingers and a horse collar tackle on Drew Pearson subsequent to The Catch. Pearson would have taken it to the house).

About the 40 second mark.

And yet Romo can't get past the divisional round.

Romo has about 2 good years left to change his legacy. Whether that is right or that is wrong, it just is.

The young have a hard time seeing beyond what they have experienced.

Romo has 2 years left to be remembered as anything other than an above average QB on teams that really didnt do anything.

And make no mistake, he knows it.

Danny White was a heck of a good QB. Y'all's feelings about him are what your kids will feel about Romo if he can't at least get Dallas to a Superbowl in the next 2 years.

I bet if you listen to the Musers tomorrow morning, you will hear this exact discussion.

Romo is a crappy tackler and has a lot of coverage breakdowns - that's always been my biggest issue with him.

The fact that you group White and Pelluer together not only proves my point, but also shows you aren't a big Cowboy fan. ;-)

The gap between you and PFTCommenter is closing daily - and I'm pretty excited about it.

I'm not a Cowboys fan at all. Not in the least bit. Danny White was a hell of a player, and that team should have gone to and won Super Bowl XVI. They got cheated by fate. They were the better team in that NFC championship game.

I forget the Super Bowl opponent for SF following that game, but I remember it was a lay up. Danny White would have been remembered much differently if Drew Pearson would have broke that tackle...

It was Cincinnati who had beaten San Diego in that unbelievably frigid AFC championship game. They were led by that legendary hallmark of quarterback play, Ken Anderson.

The big hype about the Superbowl was that it was the first appearance for both teams. Cincinnati didn't belong there.

Those sacks were pretty bad, you didn't see Aaron Rodgers holding the ball as long and taking them other than one that I remember? If Rodgers knows to throw it away why can't Tony? He's been tons better at it all season. No idea why today was any different?

Who's calling the play at the LOS on 3rd and 1 with .34 seconds to go in the 2nd quarter, who decides to throw a route to the endzone instead of working the NFL's #1 ground game?

Who's calling it on 4th and 2 and decides to throw deep when we need 3?

Who decides to only send a 4 man rush on a one legged QB all day?

Bad decisions on several folks for Dallas today.
