This post is just full of win and awesome, just like the current state of the basketball program.

So I'm actually in Houston right now, and am going to the game tomorrow. I don't really know why I chose this one to come to, we'll see how it goes.

I will say that NASA was pretty sweet though.

I'll be there. I probably won't be making a trip to Denton this season - not worth it, even with gas under $2 a gallon.

NASA? Reminds me of what my wife & I used to joke about in the late 80's:

What's there to do in Houston?

You can to to NASA.

And there's the Galleria... and then there's NASA.

And you can go down to Gaveston... and on the way there's NASA.

I almost forgot to mention - the new BB coach at Rice bought the new house that was built next to my Father-in-law in Bellaire, just off of the west loop. I can't figure out why he bought there, rather than in West U. Aren't they paying him enough?

The only time I am out of "thirst" is when my frig empty of beer. And that, my friend, is a very very rare day!

The American Sports Network website is implying that you can stream the game. Won't know for sure until game time. I cannot find the game listed on Time Warner Cable.

www.americansportsnet.com

Edit: Confirmed that it is being streamed.

Owls lead 16-11

Rice moves the ball very well. They will continue to get good looks vs our zone

Are we in the zone? Benford said they worked on man over the past week and was going to run man a lot during the game.

UNT defense really clamped down on Rice's offense and lead the Owls 32-26 at the half. I believe the announcer said we held them without a field goal for the final 8 minutes of the half

Okay, finally could get enough free time to actually focus on the game rather than just sorta hear it in the background. Glad we are playing so well. From what I've been able to gather Combs and Williams have carried us for the most part.
