If Utah, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Baylor, Houston, TCU, Kansas State and Texas Tech all win this weekend a 2-seed Texas Tech plays 1-seed Baylor in the Big XII Title game. I don't see either jumping Tulane.
You can play with various scenarios here. It's actually unbelievable how many there are.

if the Big 12 championship game is between two 9-3 teams and Tulane runs the table impressively that's gotta at least sew some doubt...especially considering Tulane is currently ranked above all save ASU.
Not an underated comment. Just the underrated truth. Top of the Texas market Academic Department Chair Salary is less than 320k. ( I found no reference that listed the top of market over 290k ) This why I will never get mad a players for wanting to get paid.
If your average Division I AD was paid less than 400k and football coach less than 350k we wouldn't be paying players and more of the upper teir recruits would value the education the University's provide.
The real saving grace with the BIG12 is Kansas State playing Iowa State this Saturday. If Kansas State wins and BYU, Colorado, and Arizona State all lose, you're looking at the Big 12 champion having 3 losses at worst and I'm not sure that's enough to keep them out and Tulane in.
What kind of chaos do you think would have to happen to keep the Big12 out?
