'15 DE Chris Biggurs (Coppell)

6'1" 240 lb defensive end from Coppell. We offered a while back (spring-summer evaluation period). He also holds offers from Iowa State, Rice, Texas State, Nevada, and Harvard. Remains uncommitted. May be a player to keep an eye on with both of our former commitments at defensive end no longer on board (injury and decommitment.

Just think, 6-4, 245, DE Dustin McWhorter, Graham TX, was committed to UNT. Now, Dustin is going to Texas State.

Ugh!

I sure hope the staff can hit some home run commitments with the last few available scholarships.

Just think, 6-4, 245, DE Dustin McWhorter, Graham TX, was committed to UNT.

No, he wasn't. He was ready to commit, but the UNT coaches held the offer for a "bigger fish" (Myles Cheatum) who ended up going to Texas State.

They didn't exactly "beat us out" for McWhorter, considering we didn't offer him. But they certainly played their cards much better, in that they ended up with both recruits.

Sure. Like we had how many defensive linemen ready to sign? Guys, last time I checked we really needed an influx of defensive linemen-for the past umpteen years.

I think you hit the east tx trail and bring in as many DLineman as you can. They're out there, they may be tucked away in some tiny town, but the athletes out there are plentiful. Now, Tommy, Kevin, and the new DC hit the road and don't come back till you've fulfilled my list
