I cannot sit down and watch a ga tech offense without getting bored out of my mind. Give me Oregon give me Baylor give me tech give me zona. Give me GMG

Seriously? I think GA Tech is a ton of fun to watch. Maybe it's because they're so unique, because when I was a kid I didn't enjoy the option (and back then a ton of teams still ran it, even if it wasn't as popular as it had been).

Agree. People have no idea what the triple option can do I guess. Army, which is basically a 1-AA sized team, had over 26 first downs the night I saw them play against Maryland this year, which had one of the largest D lines in the country this year.

Paul Johnson will be in the Hall of Fame some day because of it.

I find Johnson's offense amazing.

It would win games in Denton (technically, it already has!) and because it wins games, those that don't like it would bite their lip the same way we did for Dickey when he was winning conference titles.

And Johnson's option offense is much more fun to watch than The Buick's.

The triple option starts out basically the same as the zone read, just with more run options.

Well only three. Otherwise it has fraudulent claims that aims only to deceive and mislead.

People think Georgia Tech's offense is boring, but fail to remember that it's the offense that produced Calvin "Megatron" Johnson and Demaryius Thomas.

Would love to see some boredom like that playing for the Mean Green.

Rick

Calvin Johnson came from GTech, but I think he was drafted 1 or 2 seasons before Paul Johnson was hired?

I'll meet with Smatresk immediately.

MR. PRESIDENT, WE HAVE TO CLOSE THE OPTION GAP!

If we have time I'll also discusse what SMU is doing to our precious bodily fluids.

Ok, remove Megatron and insert Stephen Hill, 2nd round pick of the Jets in 2012, who averaged nearly 30 yards a catch his senior year in that boring offense.
