I'd be really surprised if we stay within 10 points of them

Their leading 3-point shooter almost has as many made 3-point shots as North Texas does as a team.

Sadly I'm not sure if the casual fan is too aware of Creighton but maybe I'm wrong. Still expect low attendance with Cowboys game the same day.

The casual fan might recall seeing their name on brakets there filled out the last couple of years.

I do not think the cowboys game will be the cause of low attendance.

To put it bluntly, we're screwed for this game. Expect a 15 to 25 point loss at home. This will not be good for the already low attendance.

In all seriousness, Creighton beat then #18 ranked Oklahoma at the Lincoln Center in Omaha, NE. on 11/19.

They were subsequently ranked #23 until a loss in a tournament to Ole MIss dropped them out of the top 25. They have subsequently had a headscratching road loss to Tulsa, a road victory over Nebraska, a tournament victory over MTSU, a 2OT win at home over South Dakota, and an OT loss at home to St.Marys.

I won't be attending this game.

EDIT: Trey Norris had 5 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 0 turnovers in 41 minutes in the South Dakota game, for those who even care.

Well for me personally at least. I haven't been to a game in a while and was planning on this one because it's Creighton but not going to miss the Cowboys game for an a-- whooping. Plus students are away on holidays. What would the other reasons people aren't coming be? ;)

I don't see the Cowboys as an excuse for area basketball fans since kickoff isn't until 3:25, and traffic HOPEFULLY won't be a HUGE issue on Sunday except around the malls. Now if Benford is the excuse I understand, but I think we're going to go ahead and try and catch both. Pretty good basketball teams are going to be few and far between in The Pit this year.

Do they charge for parking? That is how long its been since I went to a UNT led Benford game. sigh.

Thanks Ryan, Bringing about 25 or so kids and family members from my MS in TC. I heard that there may be a few hundred TC people coming to watch.

      The Band

      Thats fantastic. They should have their own unique uni's with their school colors. Or at least have some sort of insignia on their NT uniforms. I have written MANY TIMES to the school of music expressing my concerns about the Green Brigade. Daniel Cook actually ask me to watch a practice where they debuted the North Texas fanfare. Something that he either composed himself or had someone in the school of music compose. Daniel (Dr?) Cook inherited a pretty crappy version of the Green Brigade. The most significant change he made was the fanfare. The rest is CRAP. The Band is unwieldy and bloated, and the best word (besides crap) to describe the pre-game show is "perfunctory". They just go through the (musical) motions. At the Army game, as the Band was at mid-field playing the fight song I stood up and did the traditional clapping along with the band, but I kept yelling "TEMPO! TEMPO! GET THE DAMN TEMPO UP! Get to the middle of the field with energy and forgodsakes STOP PLAYING THE "AMERICAN EMBLEM MARCH". That is Junior High stuff. THIS is what a College Band looks like......or is SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE. This is the closest thing to what the North Texas Band used to look like in the 60's-early 70's, under the late, great Maurice McAdow........only the McAdow Bands played better than these guys. But everything else (including the Uniforms) were pretty much the same. So I ask, do they have more talented musicians than us? Do they have more pride than us?
