I'm impressed with the quality of Josh Greer's character. He could've told Shaq to stay away because of the way his season went but he didn't. He still sold the program. You have to admire that.

I guess I didnt catch it the first time I read it. He wants to stay at UAB for the spring? Thats a hard sell. Im sure most teams need him to go through spring camp and learn the defense. Especially UNT, with a new DC.

Or did he get told we weren't an option? With all the JC Lb's we brought in makes me think that may be the case. I think we need to get back into East tx and find us some go daddy DL and bring em to Denton. Tommy, go get em!!

Our LB's were nothing short of terrible last season. I highly doubt we told Shaq Jones , who would probably start from day 1 & wouldn't count against our ship total , no thanks

I assume by that he means against the recruiting class . . . because unless there's some exemption here that I'm not aware of, he would certainly count against the 85 total scholarship limit.
