A weekend visit to UNT left Quinton Lane with a lot to think about heading into his final official visit before the midterm signing period for junior college players.

Lane, a highly regarded defensive back from Itawamba (Miss.) Community College, committed to South Alabama over the summer, but is taking a series of late visits before he makes a final decision on where he will continue his college career.

Lane may be looking elsewhere due to the amount of starters leaving. While his chances of playing are high with both starters leaving, south bama is only bringing back 3 starter on offense and 3 on defense.

I remember when we would win occasional battles against TCU, SMU, Baylor and Arkansas. Now we're lucky if we can beat TSU, Blinn and central Arkansas.
