As bad as recruiting is going we need a DC in place soon. It's another body out there recruiting. Hopefully he has some connections and of course most defensive recruits will want to know who is running the D. Don't F this up and drag it out Mac.

Exactly! How can they be expected to look for a coach in addition to the usual 9-5. Meanwhile some of us have to work odd hours away from our entire families and friends.

Last time we had an opening, they waited until the week after the regular season ended so they could see who was available. That appears to be what is happening this time as well.

EDIT: & I agree with waiting to get the right guy. No need to rush to get the wrong guy so he can recruit for an additional 2 weeks or so.
