They wouldn't have a choice if two conference champions were in the top 5 leagues. The rules say the top five league champions HAVE to be included, so if enough Big 12 chaos happens, they couldn't squeeze out of it (though they'd change the rules for next year).
The only reason it won't happen is the scenario I described above that would have Texas Tech vs Baylor in the Big XII title game is so unlikely given its dependent on about 6 outcomes going their way PLUS they'd have to win themselves. But if it DID happen, I don't see any way the committee would get out of it. Moving a 8-4 Texas Tech or Baylor (neither of whom are ranked at all at the moment) up to about 13-15, which is the minimum of where they'd have to be to above Tulane, would be a bigger fraud than they could even attempt to explain away.
Ummm where did you see that UNT's endowment is that high? Also, I doubt we could have hired Sanders. If you're interested in that kind of a gamble, would you be interested in Jason Witten who appears to be following the Sanders path? We could be his Jackson State.
I find this thread comical. A program that wouldn't even pursuit Sanders as he was getting ready to leave Jackson State. They held on to Littrell could actually win something in year 7 is going to kick out Coach ELF and his flashy offense after year 2? 🤣. You can't give tickets away because it is so poorly managed and underperforming. If I were tasked with actually sabatoging the program in a covert manner I couldn't do it better. I wouldn't think I would get away with hiring a coach with no college experience as my head coach and retaining another coach for 7 years with nothing to show for it. Hell why aim low, let's go get Jason Garrett. He has NFL experience. 🤣🤣🤣
