The piped in music is awful. I feel like since so many of the stadium people have worked for the Spurs before, they don't know how to do anything that isn't NBA-in-your-face-here's-the-What-a-Burger-What-a-toss. The San Antonio Scorpions do a good job distracting from play also.

One of the best things about college football is that it isn't pro football. There's a band for music. There are chants and cheers for the pauses in game action.

Also the NY Rangers-ish TD thing is dumb.

We cleared out the entire row in front of me with my MG chants. It was great. They didn't like that we would sing the fight song when we scored. They shook their heads and left. :D

F them. San Antonio has turned into a full fledge infestation.

Their football program sucks balls and their "school" sucks it.They will be pitiful for years to come.

so you're saying a football program sucks that just beat you 100+ y.o team 2 straight years and is only 4 y.o.

Now which team sucks?

I had a wonderful time.

Arrived in San Antonio at lunch time on Friday with the family. Checked in early at the Hilton Homewood Suites on The Riverwalk (only $167 for nice suite with evening drinks and decent breakfast buffet included). Went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas for the lighting of Holiday in the Park. The park is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and the rides are much better managed that our local Six Flags park. We later returned to the hotel but were too late to attend the North Texas alumni function, went down to the Riverwalk for dinner and margaritas outside by the river. The Riverwalk was incredible in all its holiday splendor and the weather was perfect.

Went to the game Saturday morning, ran into lettermen and San Antonio natives Jeff Muenchow and Tommy Harrison, and its always good to see the former players out supporting the team. The game was entertaining as the North Texas fell behind but had an unusual rally spurred by multiple UTSA muffed punts. North Texas had a last minute chance as elusive speedster Zac Whitfield rightfully tried to return a wobbly fumble for winning score. He couldn't control the ball but I'm proud that he at least tried.

I talked with quite a few UTSA fans at the game and they were all very nice.

Stopped at Black's Barbeque in Lockhart for a late lunch on the way home.

It was a great football weekend despite to final score and a reason that I love that we now have these regional rivalries.

Not even close.

Nothing says sore loser more than complaining about the other teams fans.. Every fan base has good fans , every fan base has bad fans....It's called smack talk. DBAB & grow a pair.

Its nothing about "grow a pair" or being a "sore loser" and everything about being a bigger person and not stooping to their level of bull shit. As far as your DBAB comment, are you F'in kidding me? I dont know who you are, where you are from or who raised you but obviously our morals are not the same.

Sorry that some of ya'll had bad experiences at the game. Everyone I know is always very friendly to the traveling fanbase and we often invite them to tailgate with us. I got a chance to see Adam and talk to some other UNT fans who made the trip.

I'm not a fan of the in game promotions either. In fact, I'm not a fan of them in any capacity. The Dome is an old buidling and is not the greatest facility for football at this time. Hopefully there will be a ton of improvements after the city proclaimed they will be dumping $50M into renovations for the Dome after winning the Final Four bid.

Fans are fans...some of them are going to run their mouth on both sides before/after the game. It really can't be avoided. I know some of the UTSA players talk trash during the game but I really see no issue with that considering they are knee deep in competition. As much as the UTSA players talk during the game they leave all of it on the field. I was highly disappointed in Mason Y'Barro's comments in 2013 and Derek Thompson's tweet after the game on Saturday. The game is over...time to move on.
