The professionals over in Tuscaloosa carry 5 QB's, and the pros in Auburn carry 6.

With that said, we could get the next RGIII to sign and I still don't think I could drag anyone I know into going to a game until this offense changes. A Mercury is a Mercury. Nothing's changing!

then expect attendance to continue to plummet and to win 4-5 games next year max. I have nothing against Mini but can only attest to people in my section stating that they would not be back if he started next year and the offense continued to be this boring. These are people who are the average fan who have been in those seats since Apogee opened. I hope that Means is the real deal and ready to take the job away from anyone that tries to compete with him. He certainly looked better than McNulty and Greer at the Spring Game.

This feeling seems consistent across the board as to fan attendance next season. I have heard many people talking about not renewing season tickets if Mcnutly is the starter. Not sure means and Dajon can be better than a senior McNulty, however the offense will be bland and difficult to watch. I can see how people would not want to shown up and watch a boring team. That is the reason people have not been packing the super pit as of late. Like NT90 says... The only way to be heard is to not show up. In reality I will never miss a UNT game but it seems like a lot of people will not be joking me at the games next season.

I think Greer transfers to an FCS program; he's proved that at least in UNT's D-I scheme the game is too quick for him. Williams is a question mark. I can see it going either way and I think it'll come down to whether he's smart enough to put feelers out to see if there's a coach who'll take him.

As for whether miniMac starts next year... I guess that depends on if Canales is still OC. If he's still here then I think that no matter what Means does during the off season and spring practice it'll take a Dajon-UAB-type game for Mac to bench miniMac, especially in his first season.

And with four-five home games next season unless UNT pulls a rabbit out of the hat early on I can't see the alumni or student section flocking to Apogee to see McNulty trundle through a game scoring at best 17 points if he's lucky. And with a brand-new offensive line... I'm not holding my breath to see McNulty deal with that.

Early 2015 prediction... 3-9 at best with McNulty starting, even with the likes of Goree coming off redshirt seasons.

I thought I read somewhere that Chumley was going to be converted to a TE?

I, too, have a gut feeling Greer & DW transfer out. I remember reading earlier in the year that DW has aspirations to play pro ball. I'm sure every collegiate athlete has these aspirations, but for a QB to sniff the pros, he will need some passing skins on his wall, it sure as hell ain't gonna happen here in this offense.

I have a gut feeling both Greer and DW will transfer.

I have a gut feeling Canales is not coming back. He was looking last year. He's a year removed from coaching a bowl season, so teams may still give him a shot. He has another year like this year his career could be in jeopardy. If he gets a shot somewhere else, I think he takes it.

Yeah, that's what I've been hearing as well. Chumley grayshirt then converts to TE over the winter/spring.

I hope Canales leaves. He's hit a brick wall here it seems and he no longer inspires confidence or excitement in the fan base and he's torpedoing any chance we have of QB development, even before we get into recruitment.

I really believe that that something (staff) is going to have to change for DW to stay. IMHO, he is a young kid with hurt feelings. He may need a fresh start with someone new.

No matter what happens, coach Canales has been a really good ambassador for the university and his hard work is greatly appreciated.

No offense to Greer. But, at this point he is going to be better suited transferring. It just didn't work here.

I have read a few times that people won't renew season tickets if Mini is the starting QB next year. I don't get this. You either support the TEAM or not. I guess I personally don't value my season tickets on who plays QB or how flashy our offense is. Maybe I am missing something here...

I do wonder why so many want to give Williams more chances, but not Greer. The Nicholls game meant nothing, at least Greer didn't give a game away.

If I were making the decisions, I would sign two QB's. McNulty will probably get better, but he only has one year left. Neither Greer or Williams looked like someone you want to trust the future to. Means is probably the leading candidate but has not played a down.

Yes, any of the current QB's could develop into capable players, but get some insurance. NT does not have a QB that anyone is comfortable rolling out next year.

Some people prefer to use their money on things that actually entertain them positively for their leisure experience.
