Our conference home games would then be - UAB, Rice ,UTEP & UTSA

And 1 out of the East - Marshall , ODU , WKU Charlotte or MTSU

Conference road games - La Tech , So Miss

I'm guessing we would play 2 road game out of the east ?

Having three Texas teams at home one year and then zero the alternative year is frustrating. I was hoping this would be fixed when UAB was shuffled into the mix.

Sure, but their stadium only seats 20,000. They should've built out to 50,000 because now they'll never get home games.

To be fair, La Tech and even Southern Miss are closer to Denton than UTEP.

We could have made them a great deal on some slightly used aluminum bleachers. That alone would have increased their capacity to 30,000.

There are seats in the aluminum seating section at Fouts that has never been used in the history of the stadium expansion...biggest crowd was some religious organization in the mid90's, but I'm sure it was not standing room only.
