MGH, normally I would agree with you but it didn't change that much. The always predictable late-arriving crowd never showed up.

Very awkward scene to walk in to Apogee and see this large group sitting on the south end of the alumni side, seemingly segregated like Flounder and Pinto being relegated to the geek couch with Jugdish, Mohammet and Lonny at the Omega mixer. It was the visiting prospects and families.

On the other hand, those who were there still sound relatively loud especially considering the pedestrian offense we throw out there. Much noise for the defense that played inspired all evening.

And when the rain came, that memorable Tripper Harrison motivation speech broke out...."it just doesn't matter!"

Great defensive win!

Attendance was bad, but it wasn't as bad as that photo looks. It looks like there were 25 people at the game. I disagree with it whenever I see posts like that on here to show other teams too. Sometimes it's been TCU before their game starts, or I think one was halftime at Miami when it was 100 and humid so of course everyone got out of the sun. Show me a picture halfway through a 1st quarter.

"UNT is 2-1 in Senior Bowls with its lone loss coming last year against UTSA. UNT was pretty much of assured of going to a bowl when that game was played, which reduced its importance to some degree."

Last year we were playing for the division crown and a chance to host the conference championship game. I don't think it gets any more important than that for a program like UNT. The effort last year against UTSA was incredibly disappointing considering it was senior day and what was at stake.
