Conference USA is not looking to good this year. UNT looks like they could easily be one of the top teams this season. It's a down year for the conference.

Have you seen how middle Tennessee and WKU have been playing? Records are not impressive. UTEP, Old Dominion, and Charlotte have looked good. UAB did take Miami down to the wire. Other than that most teams have looked terrible. We can easily be a top 6 team in the league. Of course we could get Injured or play terrible and be near the bottom. At this point the conference looks wide open to me.

The biggest issue will be our lack of size. Hoping our athleticism and shooting (big question mark) can overcome this. Teams like La Tech, UTEP, and Charlotte has some size. Would be nice to have Wesley for these.

So now being a "top team" is just being top 6 in the conference? If we move the goal posts back far enough maybe it will work. I would say right now based on what I have seen, no way we are top 6...hope I am wrong and that changes.

WKU beat St. Joes at MSG today. St. Joes won 24 games and was a tourney team last year.

They barely beat them. WKU is not very good this season.
