I am not sure if this has already been posted, but I saw this CUSA mascot challenge on facebook. Let's show our mascot some support! We are way behind Marshall and also behind UTEP so far. Let's catch up!

We managed to produce a mascot that not even I would vote for.

Isn't that the truth. And the worst part about MeanEugeneScrappy is there's nothing that says he's the mascot of the University of North Texas? There's not a stitch of anything connecting him to the Mean Green or being Scrappy or anything else. It's been a year since the school debuted that costume and they can't even have an ounce of pride to get it a uniform of some kind connecting it to the school. For all you know it's some green parrot that escaped from a stage show at Six Flags. It's embarrassing when it's been shown on TV.

Pitiful effort and lack of accountability for the university.
