"I know it's a team that is going to come in with nothing to lose and everything to gain," Anderson said. "We saw that from the Alabama State game. That's a big game for this (Delaware State) basketball team so we have got to be prepared. It's a quick turnaround. We will play on Friday against a Delaware State team that we are not going to take for granted."

Freshman point guard Anton Beard, a big cog off the bench against Wake Forest — as were fellow reserve guards Manny Watkins and Jabril Durham and reserve big men Moses Kingsley and Jacorey Williams — in Wednesday night's postgame said, "We'll get rested up tonight and tomorrow and get ready for Delaware State."

Offensively, they are led by guard DeAndre Haywood (19.7 points), 6-10 senior center Kendall Gray (averaging a double-double with 14.7 points and 11.3 rebounds) and 6-7 senior forward Tyshawn Bell (13.3 points).

Interesting that Arkansas will play Delaware State and then SMU at Moody before we head up there to play them at Walton arena.

Normally, I'd like Delaware State to win out to help boost their RPI, and thus ours. However, if Delaware State somehow pulls off the victory against Arkansas, then our win against Arkansas (another major assumption) will be viewed as less important. I think the ideal situation would be for Arkansas to lose to us, but win out in every other game, including Delaware State??
