did anyone else catch the new BTG today? Towards the end, Mason Y'Barbo says, "As a captain, by the time I realized what was going on, it was too late to do anything about it." Found that quote interesting.

Not completely surprised.

A few weeks ago I saw Mason at Jimmy Johns. Told him we'll be rooting for the Homecoming win. He had this blank look on his face and just replied, "We'll see."

Did Carlos Harris ask several players their favorite part about playing football and their answers were "sleep"? Serious question, I didn't hear the exact wording of the question, but I heard "sleep", "sleep", "sleep"....

That's a bad look...especially when you're playing games where you look asleep at kickoff.

Question was about favorite part of flying, not football.

      McGill scored in the 2nd Quarter.

      So was the radio play-by-play. Wish there was a video replay for me to see this. I also wish there was better checks-and-balances. In the NFL, can't a team submit a replay of a call to the NFL office for review, even if it doesn't mean a change in the final score? At least there would be some transparency and accountability. Based on the radio play by play, you would think that giving McGill the TD was a no-brainer, and the game might have ended up very differently. An option offense playing from behind is very different from one playing to keep a lead.. (granted, it was still early in our game)

      No moral victories

      We knew this 3-game stretch of Memphis, Tulane and Army would be tough. We lost by 8, 8 and 11 points. We are another year away (with better players and coaches).

      Fire the OC. The defense showed up.

      3 times within 15 yards and walking away with 0 points. There is nothing about that that is on the defense. Emmitt is right.

      This guy can coach

      I predict this will be his only season at Indiana. A bigger program will $$ whip him (and his players) into a new job. Speaking of Mike Norvell at FSU, they extended his contract last year (before the 63-3 loss to Georgia in the Orange Bowl). It goes thru 2031 at about $10M per season. But like A$M, they also have $$, so I wouldn't be surprised if they finish 1-11 they cut him loose to calm donors.
