Weather forecast is 100% chance of rain from 9am to 9pm. So the next question is, are there any drinking establishments around downtown that open before noon or am I relegated to getting chilaquiles and LOTS of frosty refills at Fuzzy's? I'm discovering that it's difficult to find alternative avenues of pre-game imbibing. Still not particularly interesting in standing around in the mud staring at Thor's ugly face for six hours while testing my immune system in a downpour. I'm just not that dedicated.

Rusty Taco opens real early, and doesn't East Side open early on game days?

I still plan on going, but it looks like I'll prolly be going alone since I'm sure the gf will want to stay in her apt. Just gotta bust out the poncho and hope for the best. GMG.

At least we will see more run plays, right?

East side is opening around 11:30. I can hover around Fuzzy's and Rusty's for a bit, but neither is really all that attractive to plant myself in a seat for any period of time. Guess I'll show up in Denton around 10:30 or so and focus the imbibing on post game.

Bring a change of clothes! If the weather prediction is anywhere close to accurate, you're getting soaked no matter where your seats are. As the game nears a merciful end, you'll be thinking about getting dry rather than hitting Eastside. And that place is too awesome to risk not properly planning ahead for. :)

Club seats, brother. I'll likely be watching either through the glass or moving in right under the suite tower that blocks a majority of the rain.

If anything, it'll remind me of the game we had 3 years ago against MTSU when Dunbar ran all over the place.

I will never forget the MTSU fan behind us during that game, after growing frustrated of the constant runs, just randomly yells out "THEY'RE GONNA GIVE IT TO NUMBER FIVE, JUST A HEADS UP!!". Cracked me up for the rest of the game.

Where do you see this? I still see 90% from 9am to noon and 100% from noon to 9pm.

I watched the news. Apps just give you basic stuff. Evan, the Fox morning show guy, said it looked like the majority (key word) and heaviest rain would be afternoon to evening.

Watch the news weatherman you trust tomorrow and decide from there.

I trust weather underground, they are saying rain chances during tailgate are still going to be high, and game time is about the time we should consider figuring out exactly how long a cubit is.

I trust the locals guy who are specifically and only looking at weather for this area, but to each their own.

The main point is to check back tomorrow midday or later. A much more accurate forecast will be available then.

No, no, I meant Weather Report. Jaco Pastorius is an amazing bass player.

Was. :( He couldn't kick the drugs.
