I think skladany is retiring. Just a guess, but I think they promote from within. I thought the Perry carter hire was interesting. Seems like Noah Joseph was the DC in trainging before he went on to Indiana.

UNT was able to get carter who has played a little NFL ball, and coached the Texans recently. He came in for about 100k to coach dbs. Im sure he could land a better DB job. Probably could have gotten the ones Joseph and Walters got. I think he is looking beyond being just a DB coach on the college level and that is why he came to UNT.

My second guess would be Patrick to replace skladany. I think either one would be a great fit and upgrade. Skladany seems like a great guy, but I would think players and recruits would relate to carter or Patrick more. I think our defense will be more aggressive and take more chances with one of these guys in there too.

Moore was rather noncompliant once the determination was completely made for his ejection. Kind of deaf to all of his coaches yelling at him to get off the field and moving sluggish.

Then again, I couldn't say I'd do anything differently if I was that pissed off for being ejected from the game I love over something I had done.

I'd keep my eye on the Kansas situation. Maybe we can get a friend back.

He's an interim HC right now. It's not looking like they're going to keep him moving forward as they've already hired Neinas to help them in their search.

So, unless the new coach decides to keep him on at DC, he's likely gone.
