I don't think our weakness has been recruiting QB's. Our weakness has been developing these QB's early in their career. We can't afford to wait until a young man has been here 3 or 4 years before he starts producing ala DT.

But for the most part they can only stop them when given a month to prepare. They can't do it on a weekly basis.

I'm agreeing with you. It's the defense. In the SEC it's always been about the defense shutting it down and they will continue to do so.

Wait, does he have an awkward throwing motion and does he get a "deer in the headlights" look when he's under pressure? If the answer is no to either of those questions then I doubt of Canales would be interested.

Serious question. Does he have any speed? Tucking the ball in and running over high school players is fine for high school ball, but he's going to have to be able to get around and/or past college defenders.

Watched him on tv the other day against keller.. hes got the size but his throwing needs some work still.. needs more velocity but with some coaching he could be solid
